As a part-time associate lecturer at MMU, Linda teaches poets on the MA course in Creative Writing at the Writing School, originated by Michael Schmidt. Students from the MMU course are frequent readers for Poets and Players.
The Poetry School Manchester
Linda is the Programme Co-ordinator for the school and she also teaches
weekly workshops which are open to beginners as well as experienced poets.
She teaches with warmth, humour and snacks.

Loutro Writers, Crete , World Spirit
For many years, Linda has been teaching a poetry writing workshop in
Loutro, Crete under the auspices of World Spirit. This tiny village, accessible
only by sea or foot, is a magical setting for poetry.

Poetry and Tai Chi, Cortijo Romero , Spain
This lovely centre, set in the Alpujarras, has hosted the course The
Moving Line for several years. Linda brings together her two favourite
arts—Tai Chi and poetry. The course is open to all, even beginners in
both fields.
